Free service to help businesses recruit school leavers

CONNEXIONS is a Government funded advice and guidance service for the 16 – 19 year age group (25 for those with special needs) .

This vacancy service promotes full-time, part-time and temporary job vacancies, apprenticeships, training opportunities and voluntary work to young people across the county through:

• weekly bulletins to jobseekers
• job boards in our centrally located offices
• schools and colleges
• its website

Connexions Oxfordshire Opportunities Team can also provide you with information and point you in the right direction to find out about the legislation that affects young employees.

To place a job vacancy or opportunity with Connexions, please phone on 0845 6029375, email or send a few basic details to be entered into thier databse for advertisement to young jobseekers across Oxfordshire. (They ask that you confirm that you have employers’ liability insurance and that minimum health and safety standards are in place.)
