Navigating the Business Support Maze 2: Sources of Support for Innovation and Technology Transfer

The second of two briefings on sources of funding and business advice support available to companies wanting to develop new products or commercialise new ideas, possibly through technology transfer. As before, there will be both presentations and exhibition stands to visit and discuss your particular issues.
 
Outline Programme
This meeting showcases the sources of business support available to established or young companies in the SE or SW regions wanting to grow by developing new products or commercialising new ideas, either organically or through technology transfer.
It is a unique opportunity to find out in just one morning what is on offer, much of it free, from a range of public sector business support organisations, which will be presenting and exhibiting. These include the:
  • Manufacturing Advisory Service
  • UK Trade and Investment
  • Innovation Advisory Service South East
  • South West Regional Development Agency
  • Business Link Regional Innovation Advisory Service South East
  • Business Link
  • The VALUE Technology Transfer Brokerage Service
  • Enterprise Hubs
  • Knowledge Transfer Networks
Delegates will be able to discuss their particular needs with representatives of these organisations.

Cost: Free to SME manufacturers based in the SE region.
The cost to non-members of attending M4 Innovation Network meetings is usually £95 plus VAT.
Thanks to funding from the European Social Fund and South East England Development Agency, SME manufacturers with premises in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex and Kent can attend free of charge.    

Delegates who book on a free of charge basis will be asked to confirm their company’s SME status by signing a form at registration on the day.
    

The cost is to everyone else is £95 plus VAT ((£111.62), which includes refreshments and lunch.
