The OEP team
David Doughty (CEO)
As Chief Executive, David provides strategic leadership for the OEP team and liaises closely with the members, directors and stakeholders of the organisation via the Board, Development Group, and Task Groups. He represents OEP at the South-East Economic Partnerships group(SEEP), the Innovation and Growth Team working group, and has been instrumental in increasing the profile of OEP using the media and online networking. Dawn Pettis (Business Engagement and Support Manager)
Dawn’s key role is to promote the OEP to the wider business community to include other networks that support the various business sectors in Oxfordshire. She is the lead team member for the Business Support task group which is seeking ways to support the economy through these rough days and oversees the emerging Oxfordshire Business Mentoring Service. Dawn also line manages the Learning and Skills Manager, the Business Relations Officer and the Research and Support Officer. Connect with Dawn on LinkedIn
Helen Ryan-Wallis (Promoting Oxfordshire Manager)
Helen is responsible for the delivery of work programmes to ensure Oxfordshire is recognised as a world class destination for businesses. This includes attracting inward investment, improving the value of tourism to the economy, and also ensuring Market Towns remain economically viable. Helen is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to OEP towards the end of 2010
Susi Golding (Promoting Oxfordshire Manager)
Susi is OEP’s Promoting Oxfordshire Manager whilst Helen is on maternity leave
Rosie Franklin (Learning and Skills Manager)
Rosie’s main role is to work closely with the Oxfordshire Learning and Skills Partnership, providing secretariat to the four Action Groups, namely: Raising Educational Attainment; the Employment Skills Board; Back to Work and Community Learning. She works closely with partners – employers andstakeholders like LSC and SEEDA – on the skills agenda, helping to increase the take up of Train to Gain and reduce unemployment in the local economy.
Joanne Scali (Communications Officer)
Joanne is responsible for OEP’s communications which include the Horizons & Futures magazine, the Horizons & Futures series of events the monthly update on the Oxfordshire economy and flagship events such as SkillsFest. She also maintains the website and acts as the OEP’s point of contact for external communications.
