Tuesday 2nd MarchCreating Value from your Brand and Reputation – is there anything that an SME can learn from a global giant? Venetia Howes managed the Shell brand for the past 9 years and is now a sole trader. She will share her learning and show how the principles can be applied in all businesses, regardless of size and budget.

Tuesday 23rd MarchMarketing & Managing Blenheim Palace – Oxfordshire’s World Heritage Site – John Hoy who manages Blenheim Palace will enlighten you on how the visitor business has been refreshed in order to meet the modern needs of the 21st century – we will look at how the business shaped itself through the economic challenges in 2009 and how it looks moving into 2010. Many aspects surrounding the marketing strategy and customer service delivery will be explored.

Tuesday 20th AprilThe Kudos Effect – Writing a book is the greatest way of positioning yourself as the top expert in your field. Once you’ve written your book – what then? Ayd Instone describes how the world of publishing has changed, in unexpected ways – in your favour. He’ll show how self-publishing works, the biggest mistakes to avoid and describe why the look of your book is, in some ways, more important than the content.

Tuesday 27th AprilEmployee Engagement – a seminar led by Dr Christian Ehrlich from Oxford Brookes University will communicate how to market internally to your staff. Emphasis will be on creating the right culture within the organisation to support your business and in turn reduce absenteeism.
