Apprenticeship Grants for Employers of apprentices aged 16 to 24

The European Social Fund will provide up to 1,025 Apprenticeship Grants to employers in the South East to employ  apprentices aged 16 – 24 years.  The value of the Grant will be £1,500 and is to encourage employers to take on unemployed 16 – 24 year olds as apprentices.

Free service to help businesses recruit school leavers

CONNEXIONS is a Government funded advice and guidance service for the 16 – 19 year age group (25 for those with special needs) .

This vacancy service promotes full-time, part-time and temporary job vacancies, apprenticeships, training opportunities and voluntary work to young people across the county through:

weekly bulletins to jobseekers
